‘Ruffa and Ai’ starts off with a star-studded premiere
ABS-CBN’s newest morning talk show Ruffa and Ai made its premiere telecast last February 16 with an impressive line-up of powerhouse guests like KC Concepcion, Sarah Geronimo, comedian Pooh, and Gabby Concepcion. Hosts Ruffa Gutuierrez and Ai-Ai de las Alas introduced first guest KC Concepcion who brought gifts of good luck like salt, sugar, and rice. When Ruffa prodded KC on what she did last Valentines Day, the latter just smiled, which prompted Ruffa to joke, "Alam ko may pinadala yung kapatid ko (referring to Richard Gutierrez) sa iyo, pero hindi na kita ibubuking.”Gabby Concepcion later talked about how he takes care of his one-year-old baby Sam. He then wowed the audience with some snazzy swing moves with Wowowee’s Saicy Aguila. When Ai-Ai cut in to dance with the former matinee idol, her slipper slipped off, prompting Gabby to say as he helped her put it back on, "Ikaw ata Cinderella ng buhay ko, ako pa nagsuot ng tsinelas mo." When asked if he would agree to a kissing scene with the Comedy Concert Queen if ever they have a movie together, Gabby immediately said, “Siyempre hindi ako papayag na wala.”Sarah Geronimo performed "You Changed My Life," after which the Pop Star Princess sat down with the hosts to talk about the changes in her life ever she got partnered with John Lloyd Cruz. "Siyempre mas blessed ako ngayon kasi after nung success nung movie. Ang sarap ng pakiramdam na madami kaming pinasayang mga tao," Sarah admitted. Sarah also talked about her pet dogs before the hosts surprised her with a mini-doggie fashion show. "Ang gaganda. Pang-mayaman ang mga aso," Ai-Ai commented.Sarah also showed her talent for playing the piano. "Actually nag-aral lang ako for the concert kaya kaunti lang yun," she explained.
